I don't realize how many people read my blog until I don't blog for a while, and then people start asking. We were out of town/busy with family for the entire month of July and then our internet has been on the fritz. So now, once again, I'm playing catch up.
We started out the month going home for 4th of July. Carson was able to join us for a long weekend and then he left me, Miles, and the puppies in the loving and helpful care of my parents for a week while he returned to work. My parents then drove back up with me to South Carolina and stayed for a visit. We were later joined by my brother and his girlfriend (although by the time they left she was his fiancee!). Then mom stayed to helped me take Miles over to Alabama to meet his great grandmother and other family. Mom left a week ago and I still don't feel settled in!
I'm still sorting through pictures but I will have some soon and cover our month a little better. Thanks for being patient.

And He Shall Be Called . . .
Drop In- Take 2
Miles has been passed around so much this weekend. He has been the star of the show. It has been wonderful for him to meet so many friends. Today he got to meet his great grandpa Derric for the first time. It was special and he was such a proud great grandpa.

Florida Vaca
So we loaded up the two month old baby and both puppies and took a 9 hour (12 with stops) road trip. Crazy, huh? Miles traveled wonderfully and we're so glad that we made the trip down. We've gotten to see a lot of friends and have many more that we will see before we leave. Since this is Miles' first trip to Florida we decided to play it like geeky tourist. We had to get a picture at the Florida state line and then at the restaurant we went to dinner at in a very touristy part of town. We're really enjoying ourselves. Now he just needs a Mickey Mouse hat to make the vacation complete.

Friends and Family Drop In
With decided to take our first vacation with Miles down to see both of the family for the 4th of July. We had so many people that we so generous and came to baby showers for Miles that we wanted all of them to get a chance to meet him. Each of our parents are hosting a drop in. We spent the day at the Snipes visiting with all of their wonderful friends.
