Moving Day: Take 2!

Today we leave the second home in our marriage. When we moved in three and a half years ago it was only supposed to be for 8 months. God had different plans for this time in our life. Carson was blessed to find a job in the area and we brought both of our kids home to this house. We had two dogs  during our time here. We've had so many friends come and go through this door. We've had friends from Orlando visit, and we've had friends stay with us on their last days here in Clemson before moving to China. We've met so many wonderful friends near us that our lives are richer for having met. We were blessed to have family across the street that made it possible for us to live here. We also had many visits from both of our parents.
So where now? That is where we are stepping out in faith. We have a temporary place to live for the summer, but come August, we have no idea where we will be living. This should be a fun adventure!

Jordan's Seventh Month Photos

I cannot believe Juju is 7 months old!  That seems like such a large number to me!  She is growing so much and she is really starting to talk. She babbles all of the time, but today she said "mama"(!!)  twice, and I have a witness!  "Dada" wasn't far behind tonight after dinner when Carson was playing with her.  Having a girl is so different than a boy. It's hard to describe how they are different, but both are uniquely special. Jordan is a very stable sitter now and still working on trying to crawl.  Her weight is kind of holding steady at around 15 lbs as she learns how to be more physically active.  She has her two bottom teeth and it won't be long before the top two make their appearance. She sure does have attitude though!  It's cute at this age, check back with me during the toddler years!

2 Year Photos

This little boy just melts my heart.  I can't believe how much he has grown in the past year. I feel like he has lost all of his baby look and now looks like a little boy!  Last year, he was just learning to walk, and now he never walks. . . he runs! He loves his little sister and just has the most caring little heart!  He is also an animal lover!  He is always ready to go for a ride in the car so he can see the horses and cows!  Miles is a little ball of energy. Just tonight Carson played with him, and chased him and our house was full with giggles. Carson was trying to wear him out, but he was still not ready to go to bed tonight.  He is talking a little more, but most of his energy is going into physical development. He loves puzzles and his ball pit when we are playing inside, but most of the time he is asking to go outside to play with chalk and bubbles.  

Miles turns 2!

For Miles' second birthday we had a water party!  We had a joint party again with his best buddy.  They had a very fun time!

Jordan 6 Months

Half a year has gone by with this little sweetie!  She is such a joy! She started solids this month and has started to get around by rolling, scooting, and army crawling backwards. It's only a matter of time.

 Miles loves Jordan, or Juju as he calls her. Her nick name has caught on and she is called Juju more than Jordan.  Miles' couldn't let her steal the spotlight though and had to get his own photo op!
