Traveling

Miles was such a trooper on our long travels this month. We learned that it is easiest to drive through the night when traveling with kids! On the way back home we had to stop four times to nurse and a 9 hour trip took 13!

In the first three months of his life, Miles was in 5 states! He was born in SC, traveled through GA on the way to FL and AL and made it to NC when we missed our turn for a hiking trail. We didn't get road sign pictures for AL or GA because if you're traveling and the baby is sleeping/happy, you just keep on going:)

Babies need so much stuff when you travel. We left the baby bathtub at home and Miles got bathed in the sink! He was pretty happy with it. He loves floating in the water.
When we finally made it back home after our 13 hour drive and a week away from daddy, Miles just clung to Carson. It was so precious. He was ready to get out of his car seat and ready to see daddy. I'm pretty sure they stayed like this for 20 minutes.
