Baby girl is 5 months old! I can't believe how big she is already. She is working really hard on sitting up. She is also teething so everything in sight goes into her mouth! She weights approximately 16 lbs. Just for fun, here is the link to Miles' 5 month photo, and if you are tracking Jordan's growth, here is her 4 month photo.

Day Trip
We took the kids on a day trip last weekend to do some visiting. Our first stop was to see some dear friends of ours, Dot and Ralph. Dot and Ralph were our next door neighbors when I was born and are like grandparents to me. They had not gotten to meet the newest member of our family yet. We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with them.
Dot gets hugs from Miles.
Miles loved sitting up in the chair with Ralph.
Dot and Ralph's neighbors had two pigs in their front yard that Miles' was thrilled to get to go visit.
Our next stop was to see Carson's grandma. We had a wonderful visit and dinner with her.

Goat Farm
Miles loves the goat farm. We try to go as often as we can. This time, Gigi and Pops got to join us.
See Saw with Pops
Miles has such a sweet little heart and a love for animals. He walked around to all the pens saying, "Hi!" and waving.
Boys and Toys
This boy is so full of energy! It seems like Miles learns something new everyday. I feel like he has lost all of his baby look and now looks like a boy! He had his first official sleepover at a friend's house last night and when we picked him up at church this morning he looked like he had grown even more! I am so thankful to have Miles in my life. He is such a blessing to me and Carson. He is a wonderful big brother. He is concerned when Juju (Jordan) cries and will run and give her a hug or kiss.
Miles loves playing with toys and is very project oriented. He likes something specific to play with and work on. I hope this trend continues when we start to do more formal learning.
His vocabulary is growing all the time. He can say mama, daddy, Juju, Yaya (Rylie), Gigi, Pops, Papa, (still working on Nana), all done, hi, bye-bye, Elmo, jew (Curious George), up, down, please, help, mow (meow- his favorite stuffed animal is a small tiger that we call kitty), moo (sounds similar to mow, except always said louder), and neigh (horses). He loves going anywhere in the car because he gets to look for horses and cows. He will run to the car saying, "Moo! Neigh!"

It doesn't matter what kind of toy it is. He got about a hour of entertainment from this cat toy. I guess we'll be doing his birthday shopping at PetSmart:)
