Vacation Adventures

Hiking. That's a stick in one hand and a rock in the other.

Riding along with daddy

After our hike, we stopped at the orchard. They weren't picking anything that day but had a huge store to look around with delicious apple slushies.

Our last day we went tubing down the river.  The river was a little low so some of the rapids made for a bumpy ride. We also found a rope swing along the way that Carson had a great time swinging from.  Miles loved being in the water and didn't even seem to notice that it was FREEZING! He much preferred the calm parts of the river to the rapids but did well for the 2.5 hours we were on the river.

Eating a snack before we got our tubes

He was so excited to be near water he was happy just standing in a puddle.

Getting the life jacket fitted.

This is what he did about the last 30 minute of the trip. It was so precious!

Picnic after the river ride.

That's Carson and Miles on the bridge if you can even see them.

  2. Hope you didn't carry Miles like that for long! It must have been exhausting!

There is something different about the way Miles looks. His face looks thinner and longer or am I just imagining that?

The pic where he's eating just cracks me up! Some things never change-he is chowing down!!!LOL
