The Zoo

I took Miles to the Zoo for the first time a few weeks ago when we finally got a break from the heat.  He got to go with his best bud who is his same age and we got to test out the new double stroller we received for Miles and Jordan. Miles loved seeing all the animals, especially the monkeys!

The lion statues we a hit. I don't think they quite understood why all the other animals were far away behind fences. 

Visiting Grammy

Wow, I didn't realize how behind I was posting all of these pictures!  I'll try to do a little catching up here before Jordan arrives and makes any catching up impossible :)

Miles and I took a trip to visit Grammy in August.  It was an unexpected trip and sadly, it was to say good-bye to my Great Uncle who is now in heaven completely healed of the cancer he had here on earth. It was wonderful having Miles there because he brought a smile wherever he went. We didn't get many pictures this time but I did manage to snap a few before we left.  

30 Weeks

So we've been a little slack this pregnancy about taking the baby bump pictures.  Here's my 30 week picture.  Compare to my 31 week photo from my first pregnancy.

On paper this pregnancy is going great.  Jordan was very stubborn during the ultrasounds so I ended up getting some extra pictures of my little girl and she seems to be a strong, healthy girl.  She and Miles are wearing me out though. I am very much looking forward to the next 10 weeks being over and getting to meet my little girl!

15 Months

It's getting harder and harder to get this guy to sit still for his picture.  The first picture he is making his Monkey noise.  He still isn't talking too much but he does like to tell us what noises the cat and the monkey make.  He loves to sit and read books by himself now and when he comes across a picture of a cat he will "Meow"

He also loves to play with remotes.  This kid loves electronics. He also loves to climb now. I have to watch him constantly. When I'm setting the table he will climb up in the kitchen chair and try to start without us.

Friends

Last month we had the joy of hosting some of our Orlando friends for a night.  Bob and Ashlee were on their way to a running camp in North Carolina. We wish the rest of their family could have joined them!  We didn't think about snapping a picture until they were getting ready to leave and Miles was sleeping.  Miles had a great time playing with them though! 

Wedding Bells

My little brother got married in March!  It was such a beautiful wedding!  I had the honor of being the Matron of Honor and Carson was the best man!  Selina looked stunning. I am so lucky to have such a sweet sister in law!
