8 Months

My baby is now 8 months old. I can't believe it! We don't have another doctors visit until next month so I don't have any stats. He is still working on his crawl. He can get anywhere he wants by one means or another. He is also pulling up and has 4 teeth. He is such a happy baby and I am such a happy mama!

New Years (Christmas: Take 2)

Carson's family came into town the weekend after Christmas. We had a big family Christmas dinner and a secret santa gift exchange. It was great getting to spend some time with PooPaw, Nana and Aunt Lizzie, as well as a lot of extended family, some of which I had never met!

Christmas Day

It was wonderful spending Christmas morning together as our new family! Miles was most interested in the bows and not so much in opening presents. We had a lot of fun. For Chrismas dinner we had the Aubrys and Caldwells over. It was nice to get together with friends since we did not go home for Christmas.

Isn't our little Christmas present adorable! So glad we got to celebrate this Christmas with him!

Gigi and Pops Christmas Visit

Gigi and Pops came for one more visit this year. Mom has seen Miles once a month since he was born and she wasn't about to mess up that record! We had a great visit and worked on some great projects.

We saved most of their presents for Christmas morning but Miles got to open one of his presents early.

Photographer in Training

It looks like Miles is starting his training to be a photographer. Here he is playing with daddy's new tripod. He is also great infront of the camera. When Carson sets off a flash, he just starts smiling, even if the camera isn't pointed at him!
